About Us.

My Personal Message to You:
I created Vizual Karma Detroit (VKD) as a platform for two of my loves – photography and the city of Detroit. I know when a lot of people think of Detroit, they automatically think of crime, despair and ugliness, but I see a different side. VKD’s mission is to show that other side of Detroit, the beautiful and unique side, by creating art with YOU as the star. I will guarantee you a photography experience that you will not be able to get anywhere else in this city because:

• I will go above and beyond to make your dream photo shoot a reality.
• I am a rebel! There are certain “standards” in the photography world that I tend to ignore. I like to mix my own techniques with what I learned from photography books/classes.
• I do not operate out of a studio. The city (and other locations) is my studio.

We specialize in promotional photography for local artists (musicians, actors, poets, etc.) and small business owners, but we also offer photo sessions for:

• Modeling/Fashion
• Children/Family/Couples
• Maternity and newborn
• Special events
• Stock photos/fine art

VKD offers print design services for items such as flyers, brochures, business cards, and announcements. Be sure to take a look at our gallery to get a look and feel of the VKD style!
